Basic Functions:

As a leader it is your responsibility to lead your team to perform all tasks as required by our customer. These tasks include but are not limited to team member safety, proper subassembly, kitting and sequence parts, inventory control, picking, putaway, replenishment, shipping, continuous improvement & providing production support to meet the needs of our customer.

  • Work as a member of the Production Team and be assigned different work situations as production or other needs require.
  • Maintain a safe, 5S, and LEAN working environment.
  • Perform duties and follow all steps defined by standard work instructions related to assembly, kitting and/or sequencing parts. This ensures the next stage in the process is set up for success.
  • Escalate supplier quality issues, part shortages, and barrier to success early to protect the customer.

Scope of Authority:

Has the authority to stop production if defective or unsafe parts or condition appear. Has the authority to reject non-conforming material from the supplier. Is empowered to prevent non-conforming material from reaching the customer.
